Atari 2600 + SynthCart + Midi

Here we have an external build of a little kit developed by Highly Liquid.  Having grown up with the Atari 2600, I couldn’t help but jump at the chance to use one as a midi instrument.  As it turns out, a home-brew game cartridge had been made available to access the Atari internal sound hardware musically.  So this midi-kit really exploits this Synthcart program quite well.  This clear box design was a gift for a musician friend with a 2600.  My own was made internal so as to avoid all the extra cables.
